Mayor Betty B.Lacbayan gave her message to the farmers during the Technical Briefing on Carrageenan Technology for Rice Production.Carrageenan is a plant growth regulator extracted from seaweed and under go process. It promotes resistance to palay against insect pest & diseases and enhance yield by 15%-30%.The said project was sponsored by DOST in cooperation of UPLB Los Baños.
