23rd Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence

Municipality of ANAO is declared as FULLY COMPLIANT in the 23rd Gawad KALASAG (Kalamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) for LDRRMCOs (Local Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Councils and Offices) Category for calendar year 2022. It was conferred by the National Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council to the municipality under the leadership of Mayor Gian Pierre O. De Dios and OIC, LDRRM, Nick V. Salazar.
This recognition is annually conferred to LDRRMCOs who promote and implement disaster risk reduction and management, climate change adaptation, and humanitarian assistance programs “to protect high-risk communities against extreme hazards and capacitate them to address their vulnerabilities.”
